Plenty of teams interested in Newton trade...

You can't keep both after this year.

With the Cap room getting rid of Cam brings we would be crazy to keep him.

This is based on what we've seen from Kyle being his floor with plenty of room for improvement. If this is what we can get from KA for the next 10 yrs then I trade or cut Cam by the free agency period next offseason and don't even  blink.

Why can’t they keep both?  Kyle costs nothing in nfl terms and his tied to us thru 2022 I believe.  And cap is going up every year.  No reason why they can’t if they want to.

But Trubisky is horrible.

I understand why Chicago would make that trade in a heartbeat.

That trade would be absolutely horrible for Carolina.  Trubisky is the single biggest reason the Bears are stinking.  Why would we want him?

Too early to judge that ...especially coming off the injury...but applying your logic the same can be said about Cam...

What logic?

Trubisky is bad at playing QB.  I am not judging his injury.  I am judging his horrible play.  He has yet to show he has what is required to be a long term solution for anyone.  Most likely he will become a journeyman backup.

Its just business and better longterm investment...

Business? Yes.

Better long-term investment? No.

Trubisky isn't very good, and it's not like he's new. He's had plenty of time to show what he is, and what it is is a subpar quarterback.

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
