Different category of special teams player.

If you wanted to bring up somebody to compare to what Jones does, I'd probably go with Jared Cooper.

Well, he said "special teams" which is why I went Bates.  But, if he was meaning specifically coverage/protection, actually the first name that came to mind for me in that category was Karl Hankton.  I believe Dwight Stone was really good at it too in our early years.

I cannot stress this enough:

It was dumb as hell.  It was so dumb, had he not converted and that nearly was the case, people could have lost their jobs if it caused us to lose.  I get it--if it is there, take it---but inside your own 40, it better be wide open--it was not.

It was wide open. He chose the wrong lane. If he took it outside he had it easily

That was a big balls move. No complaints here. At the same time as a tortured Panthers fan I did not expect us to convert. Rarely have plays like that gone our way over the years. But the fact we tried that up 10 gives me at least a slither of hope that this staff can possibly orchestrate a playoff run. All depends on how healthy we can stay down the stretch. But if we want to compete with the best in the NFC we're going to need a lot more of that.

Hankton was good. Stone was a good special teamer too but Lord have mercy he may have been the worst receiver I've ever seen.

Well it went good and it converted.

Colin kept the momentum from going completely back to Tennessee after Henry Fee Fi Fo Fum his way to the end zone, and a 3 n out.

he doesn’t do it, and maybe Tennessee stays energized, scores and again and that’s all she wrote.

i thought Tepper mailed Ron a box with some Brass Balls in it.

in this case— it was Colin Jones

Play to win broseph

I'd rather lose a game that displayed ownership of testicles, than lose a game from a lack of having any.
