Curtis - body catcher and can’t get open - Samuel

Yeah, another huge Gettleman bust.

Like I said before this season and got poo all over for it. He's not a natural receiver, at all. He doesn't catch well, even body catch well, doesn't high point the ball well (mistimes jumps often), doesn't have much body control. He's not a natural pass catcher, it's all labored. All this hype was bullshit, pushed by morons on this forum who don't know what a real baller looks like, but since they're known here, they're bullshit takes get parroted by the masses of idiot fans.

Ouch! Taking shots here but you are speaking the truth.

samuel cannot pin point the ball in the air. All he does is jump so it looks like he is trying.

@Snake likes nuts, apparently.

I mean, there’s nothing wrong with that, but this is a football forum.

Anyways, Samuel isn’t all that but he’s been getting open this season, and was open on the pass that Allen underthrew him.

When I was a kid, I watched Jake under or over thrown Smitty consistently at a high rate. Smitty used to catch all them damn passes making Jake look like a HOF

I mean, I saw the same, but CurtCo is no Smitty. We’ve known that. Also, while Jakey didn’t always hit Smitty on target, there were numerous times where he did.

i think it was in the first half, but not sure, Allen threw deep for Samuel and it was way underthrown and Samuel had to stop and turn around and try to snag it with his body against the DB being allowed to catch up because of the underthrow. that same scenario has happened probably 6 times this season.

Good WRs routinely go up and make those catches though all the time.  Since Samuels can’t so all the talk is on the throw.

Curtco was a 2nd rounder. Smitty was a 3rd and drafted to be just a return guy.

Kylie Allen seems to hit Greg and Moore consistently except Curtcobutterfinger

I think Curtis is good, but I also think he played a little lazy today. A few plays where he didn't try to come back to the ball. Should have kept going deep on that amazing throw and catch to Olsen on the final drive. He has some growing to do. He shows a lot of potential at times, but he also gets to frustrated and quits playing.

Exactly. Dumb fans wanna blame Allen. But somehow Allen can hit Moore and Olsen consistently. Just not with Curtco. So what’s the problem

    • They are 1 and 9 against the  Bucs in the past 10 games. the Panthers go as young goes.  QB1 ‘s are suppose to dictate and overcome  and elevate Everything the QB does affects every part of the team and Bryce is uneven. Canales and Bryce have  an uneven relationship too  as for Evero, the only thing that might save him is the injury to Baker’s left shoulder and oline injuries. I don’t even know how he is out there   I really feel their season ended last Sunday Canales’ division record isn’t great   Getting owned by the Saints and Bucs isn’t a good look
    • Frankly surprised by the amount of people that want to hang Evero. This was a defense that was almost universally considered the bottom of the barrel before this season started. We’ve managed to stat our way to the middle of the pack whatever that means. Those critical of the zone schemes, what do you want? When even JC is getting burnt one on one by Olave you have little choice. There definitely have been moments where the zone blitz stuff has bit us. That said, are the third string linebackers (and nick Scott) covering poo anyway? This unit had only conceded 10 points going into the fourth quarter despite a litany of bullshit penalties on both sides. Them over performing is the biggest reason we are still in playoff contention.
