Myles Garrett suspended indefinitely

No it doesn't. Players don't try to remove each other's helmets every game. It's a shitty thing to do.

every week there are players that grasp or grab another players helmet.  It doesn't mean it happens every game.  Rudolph did not remove Garrett's helmet.  It is a shitty thing to do, but it happens every week. It does not warrant a suspension.

Garrett took one swing, which barely landed, but was despicable nonetheless. He should have been suspended.

So should Pouncey, the center, who came up punching and kicking someone being held down on the ground.

I agree with suspending Pouncey.

He held him down because he just assaulted someone with a object to the skull.

Pouncey and that dude are two separate events.  Yeah, they ended up meshing together but at the absolute bare minimum Garrett had to be taken down like he was.

and that is a fantasy land idea....there is no NFL came where a team is going to watch a DE violently rip a QBs helmet off and just watch and stay out of it

He held him down because Rudolph could not get his helmet off and so his teammates could kick and punch him. It's called a gang beating.

If it was so dangerous then why did Rudolph engage Garrett? Then throw his hands up? It was clear he got exactly what he wanted to get out of the situation.

I doubt Rudolph expected a pro player to swing a helmet.  NFL players get in each others faces all the time... and do not get suspended for it.

He engaged Garrett because that literally is what almost every player would do after they have some rip their helmet from their head.   They will  do it for much less.  We have decades of games that prove that.

He threw his hands up because Garrett did what literally no believed would be done.  Garrett out there fighting like a desperate scared woman fighting for her life.  Mason didn’t get what he wanted or asked for.

Ok ok. So after. Ya that was more than a barely landed, that was a straight up hit. Not sure why you are arguing that.

Pouncey should get a game because that’s how football rolls. But if that was hockey he wouldn’t even get more than 2 minutes. Not sure why your complaining about that either. Hockey players beat the poo out of each other on a daily basis way worse than that and don’t catch poo.

Not after they try to rip each other's helmets off. Just because he was a loser in the situation didn't mean he wasn't just as much to blame.

Sorry if I got mixed up between your posts and others,  but if you scroll up, there are people here arguing that Pouncey's punch and kicks were potentially as dangerous as swinging a helmet at a helmetless player... so that stuff is being said...

anyway, my apologies if I put words in your mouth, I may have misread your posts.

No worries. I am not equating them. Kicking in the balls is bad. Trying to rip a guy's helmet off is bad.

Hitting a guy with a helmet (while he is unprotected) is assault.

I don't see anyone excusing Garrett (maybe SOMEONE is, but they are wrong).  I am only saying that Rudolph has some fault on his own. It's not nearly equitable, but he wasn't an angel.  He was also stupid as Hell for chasing after Garrett in the first place (let alone while without a helmet on)

Your just talking out of your ass now like always. Getting kicked on the ground is just as bad as getting a helmet swung at you. Not to mention when that person is trying to attack you again. The simple fact the zebras were not there was the reason it spilled over allowing the Steelers to jump Garrett.

Garrett did not need to be kicked in the head. I know Mason is a little guy, but there were other big guys out there that could’ve subdued him without doing what Pouncey did.

Seems to me you’re letting your dislike of the action Garrett took, completely disregard the protection that Garrett should be granted as well. Pouncey was wrong, and should be gone just as long as Garrett. Two wrongs don’t make a right

He took him down after he went upside Mason’s skull with a helmet.

There was no time to formulate the tag team preemptive plan you are pitching. He was taking him because he needed to be taken down.  Pouncey was throwing blows because he assaulted a tiny QB like a bitch.

The kick took it too far.  The punches were just symbolic and Pouncey putting his health not Garrett’s at risk.

I mean dang you guys.  So horrific Garrett takes got me defending Pouncey and I can’t stand Pouncey  bros

Or you could say they were all wrong, and Garrett was just more wrong?  And maybe that none of them involved deserve defending?
