Should Tepper let Ron go now, prior to the season's end?

After that effort? Why? He’s gone. But there is no reason to handcuff whoever is left to run the team. You aren’t bringing anyone in from the outside. Just let it end naturally.

Just no good reason to do it now. From the team’s perspective.

Who's worth taking a look at on an interim basis? It's all ron and his pals

If Ron is gone, Norv will go with him, but I mentioned in another thread and I'll say it here, the league (owners and GMs) have him as a HC target.  It is generally known around some circles I'm privy to.

No. This whole house needs cleaning. I’m not really interested in seeing anyone on this staff as I don’t believe anyone is qualified to be the next head coach.

Ron needs to be gone but may as well give him a little bit of his dignity in letting him finish out the season.

im hoping if we are going to win some meaningless games down the stretch it at least get us to nine wins so that we can potentially lift that back to back curse next year.

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
