What we want to see happen to Rivera probably won't.

Also, Steven Taranto from The Riot Report makes a good point in his article. Ron & Hurney may only be able to come up with average seasons. But with the way the NFL works, if Tepper's going to make his move, he better know what the hell he's doing or we're going to end up with much worse seasons that we're having now.

That's my point. A bunch of owners would rather be mediocre than down right bad.

Fixed. Won’t matter who’s at QB, if Rivera’s here the team will suck and the stadium will be empty.

I think the team will suck no matter who the coach is but at least we could be looking to the future with a new coach.

If this season doesn't end with Ron getting his bare ass spanked by Tepper at the corner of Mint and Graham with all of his poo neatly packed and set on fire, I'm going to be extremely disappointed.

Why exactly would you feel this way about a man who has nothing done anything we know of that is outside the lines of decency and who's only failing as our HC is being average not superior at his job? I would like to see Ron dismissed after this season as well, but I bear him no ill will. It isn't necessary to treat someone disrespectfully when letting them go and I don't see any reason why Tepper should.

I think Ron will be gone if we don’t make the playoffs & it’s slim to none that we won’t. Ron is a defensive minded coach & the defense has laid some pretty big eggs this year. I also think the beat down from Pittsburgh last year still looms in Teppers mind. Tepper will be ready for a reset and will not wait for Ron’s contract to expire.

He’s a head coach in the NFL who’s judged on performance. Unfortunately, he hasn’t performed and specializes in deflecting blame for why he has not. I’m sorry you couldn’t see the intended humor in the post. I’ll make it more clear: fire him.
