About what I expected...

Two things you don't want from fans if you're a sports team, anger and apathy.

We've got both.

The second is arguably worse, given that even if fans are angry, at least they still care.

Somehow I'm angry and apathetic. I'm so over this coaching staff and the same bullshit. It pisses me off to the point that I don't care

I'm not angry.  Haven't been angry. It would be one thing if I actually felt it was something that can be controlled.  Unfortunately it's perfect storm of destruction.  Good people will be gone that all they could do is try to whether the storm.

I get it though, people want blood.

I would be fine with us retaining Hurney, but it's highly unlikely that happens.  Both are gone.

I'm not saying Hurney is good necessarily, but I don't think he's done anything abhorrently wrong.  I think people around here believe a little too strongly that the GM is what makes or breaks a team.  Bad scheme can make great players suck.

See: Luke Kuechly.  Kuechly sucking ass all year has nothing to do with Marty Hurney.  Sorry.

Needs to be both. People like to point out that Rivera hasn't had back to back winning seasons, well neither has Hurney and he's been here like 19 years and the GM like 14 of those. I want a complete new vision for the organization. Tepper has started that on the business side. Need it on the football side, now.

    • I agree but he honestly has gotten better about this. Used to be he’d do it like 4-5 times a game, now it’s like 2-3. Overall I’m incredibly happy with his game, his D has been solid and when he is playing his role he’s a solid scorer and one of the few guys who can consistently finish at the rim and provide that threat. Plus he’s electric and LaMelo loves him. Going into the season I was sure he would just be a stop gap here but now I’m reconsidering and could see him continue to be a “core” piece here. Obviously not on the level of the other starters but he is an important cog for this team. We felt his missed presence during his and Moose’s suspensions.
    • Philly will be a bigger challenge than the Knicks were IMO. George and Embiid are back, not sure about Maxey but Embiid alone is a nightmare matchup for us and Moose. We’ve never really done well against him. Celtics added Tatum but honestly not sure they’re all that much better with him right now than they were when we whooped them a few weeks ago. We should be able to at the very least split these 2, hopefully take both.
