Hurney should stay on with the Panthers...

if there is one thing I’m going to miss when good old Hurney is gone is the dude for better or worse has been amazing when drafting in the first round. I don’t think anyone here can argue otherwise especially when you stack him against the rest of the League. I mean he has drafted how many potential HOF caliber players?

I should also say this is a very tongue-in-cheek conversation not meant to be taken seriously. Hurney is very likely gone at the end of the season. Just commiserating because I am going to miss him when it comes to first round draft picks...

If Hurney was 25% as good as he is in the first round in the rest of the draft we'd have a dynasty.

Ugh....you know what is even more scary, to look at the rest of the first rounders combined. Basically only CMC and Dan Morgan were hits. Almost every other 1st round pick in Panthers history was some level of bust.

There is more than 1 round to a draft.  I’m one of those people that think the entire draft is a crap shoot.   I mean, for gods sake, Trubisky was taken ahead of Mahomes and Watson.  If any team knew how good Mahomes was going to be they would have traded whatever the asking price was to move up and get him.  How many teams passed on Brees, Jackson, insert name here.  I’m sure everyone on here would gladly have selected Mahomes over CMC if given the chance.
