Bold Prediction: Shaq is our new MLB

The cap hit on Luke's contract balloons from 9.9 million to 15.5 million in 2020.

Fans aren't going to want to hear it but it just doesn't add up to have two guys making that much and taking up that much cap space on a struggling defense with all our other needs moving forward. Speaking of which. Uh. We kinda need a QB...

Honestly, if we’re going into full rebuild mode, it make a ton of sense to move Luke for picks. It will absolutely suck to see him go, but it will be even worse watching him walk in a couple of years for nothing in the middle of a rebuild.

If Tepp is so hell-bent on getting this right?  Why keep the 1 thing tied to our long history of mediocrity?

Hes bringing in football people around Hurney. Both above him and below him. He recognizes Hurney has a good skill set. So did Rivera but it’s easier to keep a front office guy than a head coach. Hurney won’t be the end all be all when it comes to decision making. Keeping Hurney around isn’t as bad as you guys are making it seem. He’ll just be a piece to the larger puzzle.

13 years and he’s never sniffed another job.  He’s ass.  Period.  Cross your fingers all ya want.  I guess time is the only way we’ll find out.
