sources seem to think that both positions would be under Hurney and perhaps the executive VP would be a younger executive working toward an eventual GM job there or elsewhere

Doesn't sound like they know much about the actual story since it's been clarified for quite some time that it's one position, not two.

Its their gm article for teams most likely to fire a gm, just thought it was interesting.  They also mentioned going after omar from the Steelers.

Understood. Disappointing though.

Wasn't that the conclusion Hurney came to last time a GM hunt was ongoing?  He, himself, was the best candidate?

At this point, I would take an inflatable doll in a room full of pins over what we have. 

or

My dogs make better GMs every morning and I have to pick those up and throw them away.

 

I really hope we have competence on it's way. I am really uneasy about how this will shake down but 3 out of 13 is just awful.

Can anyone tell me how the Panthers won the NFC in 2016... I must’ve missed that entire season
