I will say this, in a lot of ways it is a win-win for us on Sunday. If we lose, we likely end up with a top 10 draft pick(possibly as high as #7). If we win, we get to take something from the Saints, split the season series and only drop to maybe 12-13 in the draft.

In that second scenario though, you've also got people b-tching about it all next season.

That might tip the scales a little bit

Nor are you coaching an NFL team-rest your starters, hurt your opponents next year- you are talking about the bounty gate coach.  You may be right, but I live in a world where people look for any edge they can get--opportunists who know the margin between losing a winning is whisker thin.  Just a theory.

It's unlikely, IMO. Think about it, sure that is your division rival but you are staring down a playoff berth and a favorite for the Super Bowl. Do you really think fuging your rival in a game you are resting starters for the playoffs is at the top of your priority list? Or do you think that maybe it's just a nice side effect of doing what you were going to do anyway....rest your starters and players that were banged up?

I mean, we suck and are likely to suck next season. Bitching is going to happen, regardless.

If we win that game, draft at #13 and then promptly win the division next year(12+ games overall), you think people will bitch a lot? Or do you think they will bitch about it because we are losing and then everything seems like a pile of poo?

Your question is whether people will b-tch?

Might I direct you to the web address? :)

All day to throw and Cousins still threw an interception. Jeez, I really shouldn't be surprised from my time cheering the Vikings before the Panthers existed but come on now. Can't shoot yourself in the foot and leave a close game with Rodgers on the other side of the field, even if he hasn't looked so great tonight either.

Garrett Bradbury who many wanted in the 1st round of this year's draft looks about like Matt Paradis. He's getting ragdolled out there. Just gave up a sack on a three man rush. LOL!

Only his second sack allowed this year(Paradis has allowed three FWIW). I think Paradis has a better PFF rating, however.

Regardless, it's a lot easier to excuse a rookie center than a guy that has the eleventh largest center contract in the NFL currently.
