giving up a 3rd for a 1st round talent like Greg obviously was huge.  But I just don't feel Njoku is on his level.  I don't know much about him, but I think we need our 3rd this simply for contract length.

Would an early 4th get him?  4 and a 7th?

It's gonna be very hard finding someone on Olsen's level. Not being on Olsen's level isn't exactly a knock on a TE.

Njoku is a first round talent, but Greg is a borderline HOFer.  We got Greg at a steal, there's no denying that.  The Bears simply had no idea what they were giving up and if so, would have asked for a 1st.  Njoku is worth a 3rd rounder, but Cleveland asking for anything more would be a bit rich for my taste.

Hayden Hurst who was the first pick (Lamar their 2nd first round pick) of the Ravens last year is an intriguing one. He was injured most of his rookie year. Lamar and Mark Andrews proceeded to establish great chemistry and have continued this year. Raven's are probably the only team that can confidently run three TE sets because all three can catch and run routes pretty well. Hayden still shows great flashes of what he was in South Carolina. I think he just need more reps. Andrews is just ballin in that team though and Nick Boyle is their primary blocking TE.

    • I only used it because it’s being said he can’t.  I’ve said this 100 times already but these deep passes people get obsessed with are much more on the WR than the QB. If Burrow throws a bomb to Chase and he is either wide open or makes a catch in tight coverage those both are more WR plays than QB to me.  Bryce has shown many flaws but I don’t think throwing the ball 20 yards to a player in coverage is something he or any NFL QB can’t do. He just gets sloppy under pressure and tries some Mahomes type backfoot throws that do require elite arm strength in which he does not have.
    • Again with the straw man arguments. You have Trump level of delusions about this subject.  Here, let me do you in this case.... I don't know if AT fuged your girl or your wife or whatever but your level of hatred towards a guy not even on the team is insane. I can't believe you keep hate watching all these Vikings games as a result. It's crazy behavior but, by all means, you do you.   Now...see how nutty that sounds? Go read this thread and see how emotional you are over something no one in this thread is talking about emotionally.
