One thing not mentioned though is that through his business interest in Hardee’s, Jerry Richardson invented the hamburger as we know it today.

And then we can be the ... drum roll ... Pittsburgh Panthers. It’s what Richardson wanted all along. He went to Wofford after he was ruled ineligible by Pittsburgh. He loved the school and city so much that he’s took the name “Panthers” when we got an NFL franchise.

Richardson named us the Panthers because he knew a Huey P. Newton descendant would be the greatest player in team history ..

In 100 years Newton is still going to be the greatest Panther. McCarthy and Cam will win five rings at least.
