This team is a shell of the team that was 5-3. Let's stop pretending we're the same team that was leading the league in sacks, won at Houston and beat a Titans team that was in the midst of a renaissance with Tannehill, going 6-1 with the only loss being against the Panthers. In addition to that, we had a dominating win against a scrappy Cardinals team and a double digit win against a Bucs team that is going to end up a decent 8-8. Now we're getting blown out by awful teams like the Redskins or severely flawed ones like the Falcons and Colts. Sorry guys, we weren't a terrible team that was just beating up on bad teams. We were a decent team with potential who completely imploded and lost our heart and drive in the midst of some unfortunate injuries that didn't help.

I have no loyalty to him at all. But he's not the problem here. Ron and his coaching staff, their philosophy was. Hurney didn't tell Ron to come up with a bullshit defense cause he was all out of answers. Hurney didnt tell Ron to make Norv and whatever that dude name is with the Shaq dome the defensive coordinator

His rosters have produced three winning records out of fourteen seasons.

But you wanna blame all of that on the coaches? Who hired the coaches?

The whole "it's everybody's fault but Marty's" thing is one of the dumbest takes on this board.

Are you under the impression Mickey Loomis’s teams don’t have to deal with injury or that injuries over time tend to affect all teams about the same?

With only 2 wins over teams that have a +.500 record.

 

Yes injuries hit HARD, especially on the DL.  Ive been one of the biggest defenders there as people automatically assume its the scheme thats causing the issue.

 

 

But this team still has a Serious talent issue.

We have 1 Solid DB, and 1 hot/cold DB in Reid.  The rest would be scrubs on bad teams.

The OL looks bare and while we have 2 potential promising guys.  Neither are instant impact guys where they shouldnt have been relied on immediately this year.

This was the perfect storm this year.  A bad GM who has done a poor job drafting/FA, Injuries, and a Coach who's time here got stale.

Rivera is gone, now the other shoe needs to drop and fire Hurney.  There should be Zero FO guys remaining from this old staff that has run this team inti the ground and especially the GM who is in the process of putting this Franchise in the worst situation for the 2nd time.
