If they're still in the playoffs, you don't really have a choice.

Once they're done, then you can negotiate what works best.

Understood, but neither Rhule nor McDaniels is in the playoffs at this point, so it made me curious.  He's probably just trying to jump other teams, which works for me.

I think so too.  Fewell was told he'd have a chance to interview and Tepper was respectful of Rivera, so I expect he'll be respectful of Fewell. 

I am interested to see the circumstance where he isn't respectful.

In light of the reports that Cleveland is where many think he will land,  I think it would be a very good thing to preempt that meeting, especially if he is Tepper's first choice.
