Usually Run game coordinators are Linebacker coaches. The fact that Al didn’t get that title could mean something?

Not sure. Word was Rhule wanted Baylor guy Mike Siravo but I'm wondering if that'll happen now.

No shock there. Luke hated seeing him go when he joined the Cardinals.

He took over the lnebacker coaching job in Luke's second season and held it till he left to join Steve Wilks in Arizona as his DC.

Luke was said to be a big fan. I'd wondered if they might consider reuniting him with Luke but obviously now that's out.

Maybe Luke will come back in a coaching capacity.

So who will be the pass game coordinator?

That was Kris Richard's title in Dallas. Maybe...

There is a guy who's a defensive assistant on the Saints staff with a DB background though, and he has the distinction of working with Matt Rhule, Joe Brady and Tom Coughlin. His name is Peter Giunta.

I think we could do better, but...

Had a feeling Brady's hire wouldn't be the only coaching news today. Wonder if more dominoes are about to fall.

Hmmm, Domino's...I could go for some pizza.

Mr Scot, I believe we are waiting on Baylor to make some moves. So the dominoes will fall but watch Baylor, their moves will free up other coaches. It could be possible that Phil Snow gets the HC job at Baylor, that could be the hold up.

Is Snow up for it? I know the VT guy they had their eye on turned them down.

Agree that could make things interesting.  An internal hire like McGuire or Snow could wanna keep some guys.

Brady making the offensive hires makes the Baylor connections less valuable also.

Down the road it won't shock me, but in that emotional retirement speech you could tell this was a health related decision and not a diminished love of the game decision. I think he'll need to step back and take some time away from the game first.
