Jerry Jeudy @ 7

Jeudy is very special. Imagine D.J. Moore - Jerry Jeudy - Curtis Samuel - Christian McCaffrey ... our offensive line would look phenomenal as is because our QB would be getting the ball out very quickly to one of these extremely lethal players.

I guess we could go defense but we're shifting to a team with an offensive identity.

Again, drafting Jerry Jeudy would help our offensive line tons. Our QB could get the ball out to McCaffrey, Moore, Jeudy, or Curtis very quickly. At least one of those guys will be open very quickly every play. Boom.

Once we jump on teams with early leads because of how dominant our offense is, we force teams to pass and tell Burns and the D-Line to pin their ears back. Game over.

This team, contrary to popular belief, is very close to becoming a dominant team again, with Rhule and Brady philosophically changing how this team wants to win.

If Rhule and Brady stay with Cam Newton this upcoming season, Jerry Jeudy makes the most sense for them. Rhule and Brady are going to attack the defense heavily. A lot, a lot of points. Jerry Jeudy is the perfect and most realistic pick at 7.

Cam will get killed behind this line.  We have to beef it up to give him a chance

Yeah, if we're running slow developing plays that take a decade to develop ..

Snap the ball and throw it to D.J. Moore in 2 seconds .. big play.

Not, snap the ball, wait for Kelvin Benjamin to lug his slow ass down the field, then chuck the ball 40 yards in the air .. no, just drop it off to one of our weapons in 2 seconds.

Completely negates any offensive line deficiencies.

then the defense will just blitz and keep all defenders within 8 yds of the line of scrimmage.  we need o-line desperately to maintain the deep threat and keep defenders from crowding the line.  this doesn't end well for the qb in your scenario.

lol .. what about the opposing CB's .. you're betting our WR's won't be able to get wide-open before the blitz comes home.

Moore, Jeudy, Samuel, all have a great chance of schooling the hell out of whoever is across from them any given play.

The opposing defense wants to blitz? Send Moore, and Jeudy on slant routes .. at least one DB is going to get burned to a crisp.

60 yard TD off a 5 yard throw. BOOM. That's how you win games.

Tom Brady has won 6 rings doing what I'm suggesting. Brady is most over-rated QB ever. He just gets the ball to one of his weapons as quickly as possible.

Brady has almost always had a premier LT along with very solid olineman at the other spots. I can't remember the last time a Patriots lineman was ranked DEAD LAST in pass pro. That stuff doesn't fly in NE. I think we have enough weapons for Cam. Could they be imporved? Yea they could be but I have a really hard time believeing a WR at 7 will help this team/Cam/the offense more than a lineman at 7. DT/OT HAS to be the pick at 7. Samuel should continue to improve from that WR2 spot. I think if we are going to upgrade a skill position on offense that would help the most is bring in another Athletic TE.

    • Hmmm... not a good start. Maybe I'm reading too much into this but after the guy who has been carrying your offense expresses frustration with his sudden lack of use and your HC just blows it off and confirms they haven't even talked, your PR team decides to use the guy who should be his backup as their poster boy hyping this week's game? Yikes. Hard not to interpret that as another slap in the face.
    • For some reason this is becoming a disturbing trend in the NFL. Teams are shutting down one part of their offense without causation from the opposition. Shane Steichen did it an overtime loss against Kansas City last week with the best back in the NFL. Pete Carroll allowed Chip Kelly to completely abandon the run game against Dallas the week before he was fired in Oakland as the OC. Matt Lafleur abandoned the pass instead choosing to rely on a bottled up run game when we clearly were having issues with the passing game. Big brain play callers some of them HCs are what the league wanted along with high powered offense and these dudes are making some of the dumbest situational calls I've ever seen. At least most of them are young and can learn, Canales included. I remember Norv Turner trying to throw the ball around the yard in a certain SuperBOWL, going in at halftime down 13-6. Emmitt Smith said get me the d*mn ball and took over in the 2nd half. Remember Kyle Shanahan in the 2nd half vs. the Patriots? This shite happens to the best and the brightest. We are just actively seeing it play out in real time just like Atlanta and Dallas fans before us.  Also, not saying Canales is going to become either of those, just begging/hoping for our sanity he gets his shite together if he's going to be our HC.
