I been saying the bengals should take chase young . Joe Burrow isn’t a generational talent . He’s very good tho . System based player . I don’t think you can just plug him in any ole team and they improve leaps and bounds . Just look at his numbers before Joe Brady got his hands on him . Burrow def a top ten pick tho

System QB who completed almost 80% of his passes in a vertical offense and threw 60 freaking TDs.

Also, there just so happens to be a team who will be running that very same system this year....I can’t remember who it is though.

It's just a blanket criticism people use. LSU was basically running a 1980s offense prior to Brady. I don't care how talented the QB, he's not putting up big numbers in that type of offense.

chase young > joe burrow is my point .
but i agree he would make sense for team at 7th than he would at number one . The value is there . And idk man in 5 years he’ll be 30 I’ll pass on that . Good talent tho

We traded away picks 47 and 77 for a raw prospect who only made it to four games and looked like Byron Bell with both hands tied behind his back for one game. The Saints took McCoy at 48 and likely have Ryan Kalil for a decade. The Broncos took Risner at 41 and likely have their Norwell (our version) for a decade. Both of them were touted in this forum and Little was not. The 2020 draft is tackle loaded, way better than 2019. Hurney got tunnel vision and completely messed up and the huddle for all our glory looks correct.

So a rookie has a bad season and he’s automatically trash for the rest of his career - but if a rookie has a decent season he’s automatically a 10 year starter, All-Pro  material? Kelvin Benjamin sends his regards.

People around here love to say poo like that. How the hell do you know?

I bet the front office already knows what they can get for him. I thought it was reported that we were open to trading Cam. You know that is what they do when they call around to shop him.  The main reason they are all about him now is because they couldn't get enough in a trade to make it worthwhile. And again this is all supposition but it makes sense if you consider it.
