who knows what will happen? not me.   i'm just hoping the team shows up in sept with some fight and a lot of effort.   i loved that 1-15 team.  we def need a 'team' no matter what happens, and not a bunch of guys just watching cam play

@TheRed is right.  this is what will make or break Tepper as an owner. Hard decisions to be made. could blow up or pay out.

Godalmighty people, this isnt going to make break Tepper.  WTF are you guys talking about?  Make or break how?  He still is going to be the owner, fans are still going to the games.   He doesnt give a crap what you think and has basically said as much.  Remember the 5 year comment?

The 5 year talk is fluff, it's a sales pitch, he's a salesman and this is a business. Nobody knows how long this will take.

It's an issue of long term longevity for a struggling franchise that still doesn't have back to back winning seasons 25 years in. It took the Falcons 40 something years to finally achieve that. Do you want to wait that long? If David Tepper successfully navigates his way to the next franchise quarterback after moving on from Cam, who is going to hate him? Who isn't going to watch? If he doesn't locate the next quarterback of the future and we wallow in mediocrity for several years, well, I think you can figure out the rest. That's the nature of sports.

The defense was just plain bad, no doubt. But our starting quarterback throwing the football significantly more to the other team than has own over the course of several weeks was the true nail in the coffin of the 2019 season. At one point the Atlanta Falcons were just toying with us in Charlotte. Matt fugging Ryan was torching us up and down the field, and meanwhile the best Kyle Allen could muster was yet another turnover. Be careful what you wish for.

Stastics showed the Panthers had the #1 defense in the leauge until Short went down. A 3-4 requires pressure, losing your best tackle hurts. His sacks are down because he is double teamed every play.

Ron's scheme worked, the issue was the defense couldn't stay healthy. I was ok with firing Ron, but for the reasons he was fired... Hurney should've been fired too.

Do you have a link for that information?

This a speculation peice. I mean why couldnt they want to see how healthy he is in March before making a decision?

I would point out that most of the threads between now and the Combine and then between the combine and free agency will be speculative.  It is interesting to hear what the "experts" think, however.  Are there any articles by any experts that suggest Cam is going to stay?  I am not seeing them.

I agree, and I could be 100% wrong I'm just trying not to read to much into any of these things because no one knows. That's been the answer for months now and it's still the case.all these articles are what some one thinks not stone cold facts.
