Not speaking from experience or anything but they are about the size of a solid cinder block roughly 4"x6-8"x10-12" depending on the moisture content and rapping technique.   Just guessing of course.

It has more to do with the strain of the plant.  Nothing to do with the coast it came from.   The country of origin will largely indicate the strain you are dealing with.
