The studies have always said prolonged wearing would CAUSE sickness.

Are you listening Ol' Roy or is someone else running the state for you? Just curious.

It's harmful and putting our Frontline Heroes in harm's way KNOWINGLY.

This is counter to all but one logic, politics.

They don't wear them all day silly, or even 20% of the day.

More than that is a OSHA violation for a reason. Big reasons. Don't be gullible

I literally work with OSHA all the time in my day to day career. What you are talking about, which is an oxygen deficient environment(<19.5% oxygen) is literally absurd. Those masks are fuging cloth/paper.

I have worn multitudes of respirators over the years, those masks don't do much as far as inhibiting oxygen unless you are being extremely active.

Lol @ CAUSE sickness. I wear them 12+ hours a day every day. The biggest impact initially to my health was it cause a case of angular cheilitis to flare up pretty bad. That was about it.

Don't forget the brain damage. You probably already get hazard pay built into your salary. I did when I worked 3rd shift because THAT causes health issues also.

3rd shift has real health impacts, especially long term. That I can agree with. Not about this mask nonsense. They suck but they aren't going to be a health impact for the overwhelming bulk of people.

They are beneficial to provide a minimal amount of inhibiting the aerosol spread of this virus. This literally happened at my current place of work. We had a bloom of 250+ cases(over 500 quarantined) that exploded in less than a week because they had people crammed in a tightly climate controlled environment without any protection and sharing REAL respirators(PAPR's).

That got knocked down because of testing, contact tracing, and use of surgical masks 100% of the time while at work. We haven't seen a positive case on site in almost a month now. They keep dumbasses from spreading it around. They aren't bulletproof, they aren't perfect, they are a minimum level of protection to keep the spread down.

Then Trump must have been wearing a mask 24/7 for years. It's the only logical explanation for that level of stupidity.

    • Bryce isn't a risk-taking gunslinger.  That's just QB DNA.  No one has ever said that is what we were drafting when we went that route.  That's my point.  That's not Bryce. Can you make Alex Smith throw deep? Sure.  He will occasionally.  In the reverse, can you ask Brett Favre to just take the easy layups? Sure.  He can in moments.  But in the end, they are what they are.  as I have said, Canales probably could win more games with PJ Walker.  And Bryce is a better overall QB than PJ.  PJ Walker would also have much worse games mixed in that Bryce would.
    • From what i see, Canales offense requires a QB that is willing to take chances to maximize the offense. XL is also the kind of receiver that needs a qb to be risky to bring out his full potential. Its just a matter of if Bryce is gonna be that QB.
    • Baker just played how Baker played.... everywhere but here. He is a risk taking gunslinger.  Always has been.  And last year was asked to be what he was.   Geno Smith was the best deep ball passer in the NFL his comeback season.  Wasn't even close that year.  Again, that's the type passer Canales has always been around in the offenses he has been part of.  The pass game that compliments the stubborn run is the deep chunk play pass game.   And that was his first investment with XL.  My continued point, is the same as going into last season.  It's a bad marriage going in.  The QB doesn't fit the scheme.  Again.  Carrol/Fox/Ron....all paired up their boring football with risk taking QBs.  And again, I'm fine if that is where we are going.  It's not my preference but that's not my argument.  I'm saying if we are doing that, we need a QB that matches it.
