So far we "overpaid" CMC. Who else?
Please don't say Teddy based on Cam's contract from a half decade ago. That would look extremely silly when you actually look at it vs other QBs signed within the last 2 years.

If you're saying paying Teddy 60+ million a year to pad CMC's stats isn't an overpay then just.. lol

Because the guy historically hasn't pushed the needle beyond game-manager since Minnesota.

I will say that Teddy did probably get around his market value. I believe I had said(in here, I think) $15-20 mil prior to free agency.

If you're going to call someone a dumbass you might want to check your spelling and punctuation. Just saying ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I do not see at all that I was calling anyone was a dumbass. Try to actually read it and not read into it like you did and twist the words around to fit the agenda of a grammar nazi.

But we signed a RB to a long term contract. The world is ending. If you look at these 4 RBs it says it's a horrible move! You don't sign RBs to good deals after their rookie contract because Todd Gurley got his knee blown up.

To follow this logic. You never resign QBs, because look what happened to Daunte Culpepper, he took a helmet to the knee and was never the same.

Also, you don't sign WRs to similar deals because ol dude up in Chicago got bent backwards.

It's almost like football is a physical game, and sometimes health, long term and short comes down to pure dumb luck, and looking at anything in a vacuum will give you a really skewed picture of how things really work.

How long hasCulpepper been out of the league? Man you are reaching. It's not a vacuum. Johnson, Freeman, Bell, Gurley.... Hit or miss....And it is proven you can get a good back in later rounds. So there is some validity to not signing a RB to a long term contract. Do you honestly think CMC will be performing at the same level in 3 years? Hell 2 years with the amount of touches he's getting? It's a valid question.

I'm not saying you are wrong but you can't just dismiss the other side of the debate.

I don't think we can pay anybody 60 + million a year...

Fair enough, should've just paid Kyle and kept it moving, but CLEARLY this team is trying to remain competitive,  despite recent signings and a mass exodus of the team's talent.

Should've tanked, gotten Lawrence and use Teddy's money elsewhere. This signing just makes cap flex that much harder. But it's not my money.

Sarcasm, stupidity. Either way.

So you really thought I was under the impression that we're paying Teddy Bridgewater 60-million a year lol.

I mean, certain huddlers think that's a worthy price point for getting rid of Cam, but come on, brak.

A grammar Nazi would point out you forgot to capitalize "Nazi". I was simply pointing out people might want to check their bad spelling before calling someone a dummy. Or they might as well be calling themselves that. Just saying.
