If you look at the teams now, not alot of teams are in need of a QB. Even if we get third pick Lawrence may be there. The 0-2 teams now are, New York Jets (Darnold wont draft QB), Dolphin (Tua wont draft QB), Cincinnati (Burrow, wont draft QB), Houston (Watson, wont draft QB),Denver (Lock, wont draft QB), Giants ( wont draft QB), Eagles (May draft QB), Detriot (Probably will go for QB), Minnesota (Probably go for QB), Atlanta (May go for QB).

So really 4 teams that probably will have a better record then us will go later. Im thinking we will draft 2nd to 4th or 5th. With the rest of the teams under us having young QB's that wont be looking for one. If we get 1st or 2nd trade down 2 spots and maybe pick up a extra 3rd round.

I'm thinking Jets move on from Darnold if he continues to play like he has been playing. Matt Miller of BR quoted a scout about Darnold's late wins last year, essentially saying they were a red herring because his performance wasn't that good.

He’s better than good.

Christianity isn’t a myth.

I can't call him a great football coach because like most upper tier football coaches in college they have an unholy budget to surround themselves with the best coaching and on field talent around. But, he is responsible for elevating that program to where it is now so he absolutely deserves credit for that. He also convinced that university to dump tons of cash into the football program and that has gotten them where they are today.

I mean, you believe what you want if that makes you feel better.

Is this really a thing?  Who the fug cares

This doofus is clearly trying to invent some scenario out of thin air just because he doesn't like Tepper's public opinions on whatever thing he doesn't like.

I like how he is using the transitive property to assume that Trevor Lawrence is a carbon copy of Dabo. And that there is some ideological rift between a college coach and an NFL owner.

Basically someone with too overactive of an imagination and also a victim complex.

My Gamecock fan friends 100% believe that Clemson is a cult.

Yeah but that is because they are the hated rival and have beaten the brakes off of that school for a while. Clemson fans would probably say the same ignorant poo if it was the Cocks that were rattling off championships.

The only criticism you can find in Trey Lance's game is who he was playing against. Ironically, Lawrence didn't look so unbeatable when he played against LSU. But, anyway, Lance went undefeated, threw for something like 2800 yards and had something like 1100 on the ground. Be also didn't throw a single interception. Not one! That's fuging amazing!

Biggest concern is he will of had only one great season vs weak competition.  Which doesn't give you the same confidence in that pick that you could of taken in Cam or Burrows despite only great season.

I'd still rank them Trevor, Field, Lane.  I really like Fields though.  But the Ohio St QB part is always in the back of my mind.

Yeah, I mean that is obviously pretty weird and a little creepy but if the players are into it, then whatever. Unless the athletes there have a problem, that legal challenge was a bunch of nonsense. I am quite sure it is as bad as that or worse at any number of the religious or bible colleges across the country.

If that kind of thing attracts you as a recruit/player/coach, etc, I don't see anything wrong with it. It sounds pretty pushy and annoying but I'm also not there experiencing it to decide if it would even bother me as an atheist.

I also don't see his ex-players picking and choosing their NFL teams based on any goofy religious principles.

Good articles, though. I was actually completely unaware they had that sort of atmosphere down there. I have worked in that area quite a bit, so it doesn't really surprise me that much. They do have a lot of backwards people down there.
