We need cmc

I was wrong. A lot were. Davis has hit a wall. We need someone to break loose on those awful dumpoffs. I don't know what the hold up is, but we either need to start tanking or start winning or we are staring our typical 7-9 in the face on a wasted aeason

Davis let me down today. A couple of easy one and two yard gains where he danced as opposed to picking up the first drove me nuts. CMC definitely would've changed the dynamic, being able to run, and break big plays.

 

But ultimately we lost bc of 3rd down defense.

Davis is injured. There is no doubt in my mind his ankle/hammy is acting up and we really don't have a plan C.

Davis is injured. He has lost his burst.  He's trying to fake people out now.  He needs to rest and he'll be fine, but he can't because we're out of RBs.  We need CMC - and Bonnafon - back as soon as possible.

He may be injured, but he isn’t as dynamic as CMC. Not even close. I know people think having Davis was somehow better because the offense opens up more. That’s stupid. It’s the coaches job to make sure we have a balanced offense. More talent is better.

The thing is he had strengths. Early last game he def got injured. He had something from as far back as the falcons game. His strengths didn't show up today at all and he was basically out the second half of last game. He's not CMC but he's dynamic enough to be competitive. That did not show today. He's injured.

We need CMC but more than anything, we need better guys on the defense. All our linebackers are replacement level guys, all our safeties (minus Chinn) are replacement level guys, all our corners (minus maybe Douglas) are replacement level guys. Our offense can hang with anybody, the D cannot.
