All due respect to our guys, but good grief the Lions were absolute horse sh-t today.

I've been watching football for near fifty years, and it's no exaggeration to say that was one of the worst performances I've ever watched. Reminded me of the early seasons in Tampa it was so bad.

Offense, defense, special teams, coaching...all of it. Gotta imagine if I were a Lions fan, I'd probably be vomiting right now.

If they fire Patricia tomorrow, it'll be deserved.

Agree.  This doesn't feel like a dominant win.  Just feels like we were playing a really, really bad team.

I was thinking during the game.

Our starting QB was injured ,and we started the backup

There starting QB was injured , and they played him and he struggled

And I have a good friend that's a lions fan, and he's been sharing stuff all year about how bad Patricia is.  Their fanbase has wanted him gone well before this season even started...  seen a lot of articles questioning why they got rid of Caldwell for someone so inept...  Patricia sucks.

Patricia had the Belichick halo about him. Of course, I don't think the Belichick coaching tree has bore much good fruit. Wow, though, that team was bad by Lions standards.

Still it was good to see us win a game against a bad, bad team. Shows we are at least heading in the right direction. Will Patricia be the second coach we've gotten fired this season? Surely not before the Lions' Thanksgiving game.

I'm reminded of a game we played a couple of years ago. I think it was against the Dolphins.

In that game, it was pretty obvious by the second half that they had just given up and were only going through the motions.

Somebody else who recalls this, was that the Dolphins or am I remembering wrong?

It's very difficult to pitch a shutout in the NFL today. Today's game was well coached and well executed by the players especially on defense.

100% agree with both statements.

I'm with you there.  I loved the win yesterday but as bad as the Lions played I wouldn't be signing astronomical contracts.

    • Please finish this thing off. The rags look like they quit on the ice. Can’t give them any chance
    • We're about 15th/16th overall in terms of player age and only have 11 players over the age of 29...Not too bad and I was more talking about this incarnation of the team is young. Canales is only 2 years in as a HC and we have young talent to build around. Regardless of what happens with Bryce you can't tell me a team learns how to win by losing a poo ton of games every year. Need to be happy we are currently not a basement dweller at this point in the season like we have been for the last 7 seasons. Even the year we went 7-10 we were 2-7 at this point. We just knocked off the #1 team in the NFC and have a winning record after the first 8 weeks for the first time in over 7 NFL seasons. The team deserves at least a little bit of fan support after having turned a very small corner.
