Case in point: Jim Nantz just said that according to his people, if the Jets and Jaguars both lose their remaining games, Jacksonville gets the number one pick.

Holy crap!

We knew that when they “should” have lost to Oakland. Jets have a crazy high SOS. I posted earlier today how pissed the Jax GM must have been when the Jets handed that game to Oakland by going to single coverage on Ruggs. Same GM is dancing a jig right now and planning on IRing everyone.

All depends on the next Jets coach.

They usually want "their guy" as QB, but at the same time, Darnold has been knocked around like a rag doll.

Maybe the easiest path for them is the LT and keeping Darnold.

Then, the Bengals will be the biggest trade partners with teams wanting to get in front of the Panthers.

I haven't taken a look at the Jets offensive line.

Could they take Sewell?

C'mon dude, they just got Becton but many would say he's a top RT.

I would say given their history at drafting QBs and the "top" defensive talent, they probably just should lol.

I'm just saying, in the perspective of a Jets fan, I would take the generational LT over a QB2 when some proven talent could be had to either be stop gaps or help make you a contender.

I think Stafford is a really legit possibility for them in the big trade this offseason.

It’s a damn fine question. If I was running the Jets (lol) I would build the line around Darnold if I fell to pick 2. If I had 1, obvi draft Trev and ship Darnold off for draft capital, but at 2 it’s such an interesting dilemma for em.

Throw Gase out the building a la Jazzy Jeff, draft Sewell to bookend the line with Bec. Keep Darnold who will blossom under protection and with an actual offense guru HC. Get more weapons in rounds 2-4 for Darnold to actually throw to.

poo just got crazy interesting.

You're sending Stafford to the Jets after a career with the Lions?

Did he sleep with your wife?
