Tankathon’s Mock hates us. Has us picking a CB. Falcons get Fields.

again with this poo every year. people will rise and fall, might as well wait until the combine. I'd laugh if the falcons got fields, i'm all for it. You know how this organization is and they might just be happy as butter with teddy and take the best corner in the draft.

lmao I'd be very surprised if Surtain is the best CB in this draft.

He has Kirkpatrick 2.0. written all over him.

I'd also be shocked if DG spent a #8 on a CB with all those hog mollies sitting on the board. In this scenario, he could nab his top DE or his #2 OT.

Whew. That would cause a stir.

Not as much as getting a second shot at Trask in the 2nd round and picking a safety. I mean I like a strong Defense, but this mock must have us converting Manhertz to LT in the offseason. Maybe they do hate us.

We could draft one of the "big 4" QBs' in round 1, and this is a GREAT top heavy ILB class. We can get a better player than even Shaq right away and I love Shaq. You got Zaven Collins from Tulsa, Owusu from Notre Dame, Dylan Moses from Alabama, Nick Bolton from Missouri, Jack Sandborn from Wisconsin, Chazz Surratt from UNC and Jabril Cox from LSU...WOW! One of those will certainly be there with our early second round pick and we could really be set on defense because I think we would add a DT in free agency and sign Hasaan Reddick from the Cardinals, due to their very close connection at Temple. Our D could be nice if we just follow this plan!

    • Most teams OLs are dealing with injuries at the end of the season. So by that token all QB play should be horrific across the board, but it's not.  Using the OL as an excuse anytime a QB plays bad is just lazy.  This is the same OL when Bryce had his good games not so long ago.  So do they suck just when Bryce does bad? Obviously they played well enough when y'all were doing your victory laps and saying 'you told us Bryce was the man' in the victories. It goes back to my stance with Bryce all along...he's a low end starting QB.  He'd be a great backup. Bryce is going to have a few really nice games a season at this point in his career, with a few WTF games mixed in, but very middling overall.
    • Good Lord! I bet the O-line play wasn't the worst since 1980.  And @thebdawg, injuries absolutely can make for a bad showing at the end of the day. That's not an excuse, it's just a fact.
    • Defense stepped up after that and held them to a FG. Offense proceeded to turn it over on downs right after.  Was it an incredibly dumb penalty, of course it was. The defense played their asses off though and got zero help from the offense. If you force them to punt at that point instead of the penalty do you really think the offense does anything differently?
