Hi folks! (Mods, please delete if not appropriate)

Longtime Panthers fan here since 2003, Huddle lurker since 2011, and noob poster since last year (I believe). I'm in my last semester of doctoral school and am in the process of collecting data for my dissertation. In summary, I'm looking to see if there's a connection between total screen time usage (social media, television, movies, internet use, etc) and mental health. Side note: how many times have you had to step away from the Panthers for your own mental well being? I have plenty of times.

The survey will take you no longer than 15 minutes to complete. I would very much appreciate your help!

Appreciate it! This was the only measure in existence that I could find that was developed solely to measure types of screens used. Yes, it was developed for adolescents but I'm interested in the adult population so I received permission to alter it as much as I could to target adults.

nice. i remember fuging around with surveymonkey quantifying qualitative data for an anthropology masters thesis and i still have nightmares about spss.

Will do! I'm not looking forward to SPSS. It's definitely not one of my strongest suits.

Also a graduate, same field and did the same thing.

SPSS is awesome. It takes time to get used to and I would never suggest downloading it illegally to help you master it (back in my day not too long ago we could only use these programs on campus, may be thinking of the older program).

Once figured out though it’s a lot of fun and tons of ideas will come to mind how to use it.
