If I told you 2 months ago that covid would hit half our team at once, Petr would get his thumb mangled like yarn in a blender, we play a game shorthanded because we are cap strapped and that Jordan Staal would be our best player, who would've guessed we'd be 10-3-0?

Not me.  The depth this year is what is really impressive.  Staal, McGinn, Nino, Necas, Trochek, oh yeah and those guys Aho and Svechnikov, who haven’t even come close to their potential yet, and now Turbo getting back into form.  Then Skjei, Pesce and Gardiner playing like world beaters, and Slavin and Dougie haven’t played to their potential yet.  I mean...

I was about to say the same thing, so much firepower on the top 9....  I'm watching Necas closely because he seems like a guy who is putting it together....

      I’d see your point if you weren’t talking about the NFL.  There’s plenty of human mistakes left to give life to the game without a chain gang.  Best believe the Chiefs are getting that PI or illegal contact call on the last drive of the game.

      Seems like we’ve got more than “dawgs” or whatever. This class seems like a good crop of guys with some heavy life experience and came out stronger. Just seem like good people too. Really hope this is a high end class. XL, Brooks, and Wallace and Sanders could all be high impact guys and quickly.
