Fields or Lance would go Number 1 in 2021 draft no questions asked, people are just claiming to not want Fields bc they're helmet scouting and letting sports media do their opinions for them

He is 100% going to be there at 8.  Just a question of will the panthers still be there.

Like that's wishful thinking, no disrespect intended. Trey Lance is a 20 year old Steve McNair clone and in 2019 he trey 28 tds to 0 picks. He's not lasting to 8, not when Jordan fugging Love goes in the first round. This year he played one game, that's not gonna count against him to arrogant nfl scouts

4qbs have never gone in the top 7 picks, thats including the modern era of football where qb's are the most valuable position in any sport.  So you are either saying history is going to happen in April or that someone will pick Lance over Fields.

Last year history happened when we took all defensive players, teams are trading for QBs more than ever, nothing is a stretch at this point Ms Cleo (kidding)

Also teams have preferences and draft according to scheme fit, like the Raiders with both of their firsts last year. Ceedee Lamb was a top ten player and fell to Dallas, Jordan Love got horribly overdrafted etc

The dude has played one year of football over the last three years. You can’t make the claim he’s some McNair clone after one year of football in three years. Especially when he’s on the best team in that league by far. They don’t lose.
