Per Adam Schefter, “In speaking to some teams, I don’t think this is going to deter anyone’s interest in trading for Deshaun Watson”

Another element to the story:  The lawyer is lying publicly.   He stated that he had been in contact with the Houston police and they were looking into it.

The Houston Police Department publicly stated yesterday that their had been no contact between them and Mr. Buzbee and were not investigating anything.

That doesn't mean the allegations aren't true.  But this is poo some weird, murky, stuff.

Interesting

If the police are not investigating this by now they should be.  Watson should ask them to himself if he's innocent.  If it is truly a shack down then clear your name young man.

Or, sit in silence and let the narrative dictate your future.

Yeah if it’s truly fabricated (by 7 plus women is hard to believe), he should be addressing the fans, going to the police, and suing this lawyer for defamation and other things immediately. Even if he settles or gets this dropped, it seems he was doing something inappropriate for this number of women to be so high...

Joe Person actually cleared that up.

Buzbee clarified later that he had spoken to a friend of his on the force, not "the police" itself.

Also said he was in the process of packaging a lot of the evidence together to turn over to them.

It's actually at twelve now, with reportedly ten more still being vetted.

Yeah I just don’t see how you can possible get/think 12 women are willing to play along/lie/sacrifice their career and reputation just to get some money from Watson. I mean these women obviously work with NFL players, so they probably aren’t really hurting for cash. I don’t get why any team is still interested in him at this point.
