I have kept my cards close to the vest on what I think will happen but I guess it's time to chime in so here is what I think is the most likely outcome tonight.

I'm going to go with @Vergeand her grapevine rumbling info and say we take Jones if he is there with Sewell gone.    I am going with them not being able to trade down in this scenario.  I'm not buying into the Fields hype as I think that the OSU QB stigma continues with him as the latest victim.   There's really only two maybe 3 top 10 worthy QB's in this draft.  Just because more are taken doesn't mean said qb is worth the investment, it's just desperation driving the hype.  We are no longer that desperate.

      I didn't move the goal posts. But anyone who follows football who wants to engage in a rational discussion can't argue that 10 7th round picks are equal to 10 1st rounders in value. The argument has always been we haven't spent as much on defense has we have on offense. Draft picks have value just like salary. We have not spent the same amount of draft pick salary cap on defense that we have on offense since drafting Bryce. It's not even close. Just the 2 1sts we used on Bryce, 2 overall 1sts have a value of 6000. That doesn’t even factor in DJ Moore or the 2 2nds. Bryce cost more than everything we've spent on defense in 6 damn years.

      Woukd be a great addition You know the issues from my prespective, 2 things the Panthers must do 1. Edge or pass rushers or 2 oline or 3 oline or as Andy Reid says, when in doubt, draft a lineman it is time   That oline is troubling plus a small person at QB  they   1. Can do a lot better than mayes at center, 2. and lewis has had injuries all season. 3. Moton should not have  been resigned long term, 4. corbett is a shadow and will probably be released  5 and Christianson coming off Achilles   6 and the kicker, would be Ickey’s contract if they decide to keep him INMO rookie and contracts will be needed to offset all that
