Panthers trade down AGAIN

I feel like this is how Seattle typically runs their drafts...just trade down and hope to hit on the late round picks.

This is also what I do during the draft in Madden. Why are they playing madden IRL.

Tom Brady...Antonio brown...Latavius Murray...Antoine Bethea...Adalius Thomas...Matt Burke...Terrell Davis...Greg Lloyd...all say hello from the 5th round.

And all of them were a pleasant surprises, not a the basis of a strategy. Big difference here that makes it questionable if they even have a strategy.

I don’t think we select all those 6th rounders.  I think they will be used to move up a time or two in the 3-5 rounds.

    • I guess the question is whether this team is so far behind the eight ball that we need to bring somebody in to steady the ship and stop it from taking on water before we can forge ahead.  Think what Fox did in Denver. That is what I see Dan Quinn as.  That role is pretty much what you hire Rivera to do.  And I am not comparing Quinn to Rivera, just their strengths. I don't know that we are at that level of dysfunction or not.  I do think that if we are not, we are close.
    • While I don't think Quinn would be a terrible hire and he's been to a Super Bowl, it just feels like he'd be sort of a Ron Rivera redux. I'd prefer to go for some new blood. I'm warming up to the idea of DeMeco Ryans as HC and him bringing along someone from the Shanahan tree to be his OC.
    • Well that's kinda a low bar. I probably could do better than Rhule.
