How much of the Jets performance was really on Darnold?

They have actually had 11 winning seasons since 1995(last in 2015 at 10-6) and 7 playoff appearances.

Sooooooo........that statement kind of applies to us too, right?

We've won the NFC and been to the Superbowl.  We've had several playoff appearances and wins....

They are the team with the longest playoff drought at the moment...so we are the better team...at this moment.  I don't care that they were 10-6 in 2015.  We were 15-1.

They just went through an overhaul so they are not the same jets as last year.  We just went through an upgrade, so neither are we.  When is week 1?

sorry I missed the QB my bad....

Wow, way to narrow it down.

I hope you're around here come fall.  I really really do.

No worries.

Only 1 QB amongst the 22 positions on the field and only 32 starters in the league...by definition it's a narrow discussion.

What are you expecting this Fall?

Well, I looked it up...you're right the jets are real good at ruining Qbs.

I think Darnold is going to play better than he did with Jets...since there will actually be olinemen, and receivers without the dropsies, and a running back who wasn't pulled off his couch...and an OC who can spell OC, and we can snap the ball.

Well there's always a 1st for everything...

...let's hope you are right.

Well the extra 2 wins are predicated on a combination of a healthy/available CMC + generally upgraded personnel due to the passing of a new year...

...so, not much.

I like this thinking....working with the public and crisis management all my life, my expectations are always moderate, that way I’m never disappointed by our humanness.

Yeah. I actually was watching NFL football at that time. I didn't start when Sam Darnold got drafted.

Carr rushed for considerably more yardage and and same amount of TD's in his first three years than Darnold.

Had you watched the NFL at that time, you would have seen the historically bad protection he saw. It had nothing to do with him not being able to make plays on the run. That's ridiculous.

I started watching NFL Football in 1997 but I don't think that matters much to you as you just like to insult me when I'm trying to have a civil conversation with you.

So how about you try responding like an adult instead of an a-hole, huh?   Jesus christ....

I never claimed not to be an asshole.

Anyway, I did make an assumption that you were simply a USC fan that followed your player into the league based on your single player post history here.

If I simply do a post history search you literally only discuss him. That doesn't strike me as much of a Jets fan or a Panthers fan.
