I just saw that we are bringing Ha-Ha Clinton Dix into camp for a tryout.  Anybody know is hes got anything left in the tank?

Clinton-Dix has already had tryouts in a couple of other places with no takers.

I'd say my expectations would be pretty low.

I'm baffled by Clinton-Dix. I mean, he's literally never missed a single game in his career. Started every game since his rookie season. But for the last two years he can't even get a backup role?

He last played in 2019.  Did he opt-out due to COVID last year, or could he just not find a job?

I think he just couldn't find a job. I went ahead and said "two years" because he's had multiple tryouts this year too.

I looked him up. He was signed by the Cowboys last offseason (reunited with former Packers coach Mike McCarthy) but he didn't make the final roster.

He was apparently available all last year but nobody picked him up.

If Horn plays at Jalen’s level then this defense is going to be lights out. I’m still thinking we are a year or two away from this defense being a true force in the league because we are still so young.
 

I look at Burns like he’s an older veteran but he’s just now entering his 3rd year and he just turned 23. That’s crazy.

I am not worried about safety, that seems like one position that always has someone of value cut in camp that we can be on the lookout for

Granted, but our previous solution would have been to sign a guy like Tre Boston.
