I’m sure DJ Moore is in the top 5 since he entered the league too.

He's been 30th, 22, and 28th in his 3 seasons. I don't think that makes him top 5. I suppose the math could do some weird things when you do a 3 year ranking but that doesn't seem likely when the top guys seem to be the same every year.

He was 28th last year, yet he lead the NFL in YPC? Damn…I don’t remember him catching many deep passes last year….

RBs have a huge advantage in the YAC category simply because they catch so many passes behind or near the LOS. Most passes to RBs are basically extended handoffs.

and our running back is number 1, over Kamara, McKissic and Ekeler , while sitting out most of 2020.

DJ has had some impressive yard after contact numbers.  I know he lead the league one year.  But it isn't a traditional stat like YAC.

Yep, there's that forward pass they do now to RBs and WRs where the QB lines up in Shotgun, and the RB starts in motion, and as soon as the QB gets the ball he tosses it 1 yard forward to the RB whose already in a full sprint and he's able to round the edge for big gains.

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
