Corey Miller went on WFNZ/Bailey yesterday and said he's seen nothing to indicate Sam is an upgrade over Teddy...

We'll see in the regular season. He was a checkdown king in preseason similar to Teddy. Smitty called him out numerous times for taking a 6-8 yard completion instead of targeting an open WR downfield.

I agree, for now. Regular season will start and we will see how things go. For a lot of us we were happy to see the offense with Darnold in charge shortly but when the real defenses are out there, will he challenge teams downfield? That’s what I disliked about Teddy. Hoping Sam takes more shots.

Context is important. yes, interceptions were made, but that saints game you're referring to where the oline pretty much gave up, pj walker was thrown in last and made to play hero ball for a game that was already lost. I don't hold the saints game against pj walker.

I believe broncos are just trying to put themselves in a better draft position, maybe i'm wrong but i don't know how teams expect to win with just checkdown's.
