If it's one thing I've learned about the new look Panthers it's this, contracts mean very little if you are not cutting it. I doubt they will keep him just because of the contract.

I hope you keep Grier. I know he is mostly hated and hadn't done much before but I personally think he has done really well this camp and has shown tremendous improvement. He has ran the offense efficiently, made quick decisions and his passes have been mostly on target. If I had to choose between him and Walker at this time I would honestly go with Grier. I think he's more similar to Darnold so the change would be more fluid making him a better long term back up if he continues to improve under Brady. Walker appears to be the same as last season but Grier is definitely looking better than last year.
