Only on the huddle would they use that to beat the OL dead horse.

Is it really beating a dead horse if it is our weakest unit and could very well hinder our goal of a winning season or playoffs? You perceive fans refusing to bury their heads in the sand over our roster deficiencies as an insult and that's just very odd.

Yup.

We just got the DPOY for 6th rounder 2 years out.  Only on the huddle would they use that to beat the OL dead horse.

these are the same people who pushed trading the team for Watson and made comments about every single pickup that wasn't an All Pro QB. They don't see the holes in their logic.

Well, there's your problem. You're trying to think. Horn has talent, but it's still way too early to crown him when he's only played 3, count them 1 2 3, 3, games.

I'm not crowning him anything.

I'm acknowledging his play in those games puts in the top of the league. Can you admit that, or are you going to continue taking the stupid route, and keep this personal.

No one is burying their heads in the sand frankw.  That is all in your mind.

NFL fans wanting an all pro quarterback and critiquing the decisions of the team? How unheard of.

Horn didn't look bad, but wasn't a world beater by any stretch of the imagination. The three games he played were against two rookies making their first starts and a guy that was considered a reclamation project at best. All three were under heavy pressure and didn't have a lot of time to go through their progressions to look his way much. When thrown his way, he's had one PD(tied for 128th amongst active players) and been in on five tackles. Oh yeah, he's had a flag tossed against him and jumped in the way of a teammate to get the gimme INT. Not bad, shows promise, but still just a talented rookie starting his career.

If you want to say he is the best corner the Panthers have, then that is more an indictment that the others suck at their jobs than him being a lockdown corner. Which, is why he was drafted.

Just as its too early to declare the rookie linemen who were drafted a success.

Never claimed anyone was a success yet. Early returns on Slater show he is promising just like Horn. Early returns on Christenson in the little game time he got weren't as good. Hopefully, he plays better if he gets to play this week.

    • lol well that kinda ended up working out in the end, even though I still don't have my jersey yet. Was supposed to ship by tomorrow this time, but just got another email saying it was delayed another 3 weeks and because it's been delayed so long, I had to tell them to keep the order or cancel it, but gave me a 25% off my next order as an apology. Well, my original fear came true and they are now selling the FUSE version (but still not the Blue unfortunately) before the one I ordered was ever shipped. But that's awesome, because I was able to use that coupon to order the FUSE instead and then cancelled the original order.  So I got the jersey I wanted for only $6.30 more than the crappier version costs, and it also says it will be shipped immediately and get here early next week, or 2 weeks before the other was now supposed to be shipped out.
    • I've watched this and think we are well underway.  Believe it or not, Bryce is a big part of this.  The way he bounced back with such grace.  And we've got a lot of young players who want to make their mark, Dave is giving them an opportunity.  I loved our draft.  I like the number of guys we brought in, and they will help build the culture we want under Dave.  We're getting closer, and I think we'll see more wins this year than most of the board. The right culture breeds winning, and winning builds the right culture.  Imho, it's coming.
    • As others have said it's both. One creates the other. But it also takes time sometimes years. And there have been teams lately with new car smell coaching staffs that looked like they were putting it together quickly but things came crashing back down to Earth. Sustainability is the key. For that to happen the meddling of our owners has to stop and they cannot be tempted to return to their ways over any bump in the road either.
