Like the fact they think in terms of spark score and say things like "we think he's a second round guard, third round tackle" proves they're not gonna be shy about going against the grain with regards to acquiring a QB and fixing the Offensive line. This fan base is just terrified to draft a QB bc they're not used to having good ones lol.

We went against the grain this season when we traded for a QB and selected a CB in the 1st round. Everyone thought we were going to pick a QB, how is that not against the grain?

I do not see any evidence that we are interested in a rookie QB.

You're admitting you haven't watched them lol

Shallow observations and overreaction are your things aren't they lol

I have watched 80% of Howell.  Watched Willis vs NCSU last year and the highlights that you (or another poster posted on here).  A mediocre ncsu defense shut him down.  Aside from that fact and the fact he is not playing anyone the dude is 6ft 200lbs.   That scares the poo out of me.  No thanks to both.

You mean you are not ready to trade away future 1sts for the rights to draft one of these dudes? Why ever not?

I'm not the one pooing posts, stop projecting your insecurities with disagreement

Stop calling folks names. People are going to disagree with you. You can't call all of the names. Well, you can, because you do. But, as a decent human being? Not cool

Not one person here mentioned trading away future firsts for either, you're imagining arguments you're so flustered

Please learn to deal with disagreement and grow up

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
