Panthers not in mix to acquire Texans QB Deshaun Watson:

Odds are this is Texans/Watson camp/interested teams stirring this up. So, all of the above need the league to get involved and make a call on the length of the suspension we all know is coming. If you are out of it but maybe can compete next year, you want to have the games the league suspends him fall in 2021 and maximize the 2022 games. Texans know this, Watson knows this, teams wanting him know this.

Someone here will know/look up the ability to trade a suspended/exempt list player rules. Something tells me all parties want to get him moved before the suspension to make sure it can go thru.

The fact that the Texans want an arm and a leg and he is allegedly a serial sexual predator - I am good with us passing on Watson. Way too much bullshit and the juice is not worth the squeeze.

Imagine paying the price they're asking and then putting him behind this Oline.

Their rationale is that because he played behind crap in Houston, he will be able to play behind crap here.

I mean who needs an O-Line when you got someone who is an expert at running for his life and playing backyard football , right?  🙄

How about get a damn O-Line so that ANY QB we put behind there will have a shot instead of needing a friggin' Magician or Houdini to escape the pressure?

    • No poo tho you might could Jenkins for Legette. They got nothing at WR after the big 2 in Cincy. I don’t think you trade away OL depth. Could get a quality player in cuts. Really that 3-4 end spot what you should be looking for is someone who is stout with long arms and can push back the OL in both the run and pass game for others to make plays…. But we signed Wharton, sometimes I think Evero is a fraud ass nerd who should be an analyst at best.
    • you would honestly probably do Monroe Freeling more of a disservice by putting him in a position where is not yet ready to succeed. .we all knew Monroe Freeling struggled at the NFL combine in drills because of technique related issues & would need time to develop  & now all of a sudden before they even put the pads on Monroe Freeling is somehow a starting LT in the NFL ? if he struggled at the NFL scouting combine what do you actually think is going to happen in a live NFL game at LT ? .even our best LT of all time was not ready to start at LT when he was a rookie & he turned out to be a pretty good darn LT by the name of Jordan Gross ...just saying be patient Young Jedis
    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
