Man why can't some people appreciate different styles of football. Cam is great. No he didn't sit back in the pocket like Brady or Brees, or Manning. He is closer to Rodgers than any of the styles of 2000's.  If Brady could run he would, and so would manning but they couldn't  plus they were from a different Era where being dual was frown upon and really considered a black thing.  Cam completely transition that from a negative narrative. If Cam had what Brady possessed in coaching there is no telling how great he could have been. Even though playing for this dysfunctional franchise he was still able to make something out of nothing. Yea Brady is great, Brees, Manning all great.  Cam is Cam. He is special, one of a kind. Can you say that about the others! And no this is not a question.

Being Duel was frowned upon?

Tell that to Tarkenton, Staubach, Elway, Young, Cunningham, McNair and on and on and on.

It's never been frowned on.

Cam ain’t just dual though

Cam brought a running aspect to the position that hadn’t been seen in the modern NFL.   Which makes Cam the toughest short yardage threat that exists in the NFL.  And that’s been the case since his arrival.

I meassure QBs by how they throw the ball.

He has never thrown it as well as

Brady Rogers Brrese Roethlisberger, Wilson, Rivers, Ryan,Stafford

In 2014 he was 21st in the NFL in yards 200 yds ahead of Bridgewater. With 18yd and 12 int

People use to measure RBs strictly by how they ran between the tackles.  Then they got more diverse.

6pts is 6pts.  Yards are yards.

I don’t compare Lamar Jackson to Tom Brady.  They do different things from the QB spot.  Neither can do what they other can.

Yeah but if you had to win the Superbowl to save your life you'd pick Brady

Majority of the time.   But if you got a weak OL and weak WRs?  Lamar might be the guy.

Tom Brady needs the right pieces around him to be lethal.

I honestly can't remember that guy playing in a game what did he do block

I’d probably classify him as a receiving TE.   He didn’t do anything here.  Think he actually had a decent time in Cleveland.  Maybe he is bitter we didn’t use him.

    • um... make it make sense. 200+ yards, no fumbles so why only a 75?!
    • They have for sure set the offense up to be successful with a QB that can run it.
    • I don't think Dan Morgan will be gone after this season, but some requested a potential 2026 GM candidate list. So here ya go. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Top/Rising General Manager Candidates: Notre Dame general manager Mike Martin Atlanta Falcons vice president of player personnel Kyle Smith Tampa Bay Buccaneers senior personnel executive Byron Kiefer Detroit Lions assistant general manager Ray Agnew Detroit Lions director of college scouting Brian Hudspeth Houston Texans assistant general manager Chris Blanco Former Indianapolis Colts chief personnel executive Morocco Brown New England Patriots senior personnel executive Alonzo Highsmith Buffalo Bills director of player personnel Terrance Gray Las Vegas Raiders vice president of player personnel Brandon Hunt Los Angeles Chargers assistant GM Chad Alexander Seattle Seahawks Vice President of Player Acquisition Matt Berry Kansas City Chiefs assistant GM Mike Bradway New York Giants assistant GM Brandon Brown Cleveland Browns assistant GM Glenn Cook Chicago Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham Indianapolis Colts assistant GM Ed Dodds Buffalo Bills assistant GM Terrance Gray Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant GM Mike Greenberg Philadelphia Eagles assistant GM Alec Halaby Green Bay Packers director of football operations Milt Hendrickson Houston Texans director of player personnel James Liipfert (may be the assistant GM with Texans now) Baltimore Ravens VP of football administration Nick Matteo Los Angeles Rams assistant GM John McKay Washington Commanders assistant GM Lance Newmark Please correct me where I may have incorrect titles and add any names you think may be rising. Again, I don't think Dan Morgan will be fired after this season, but some requested this following the HC thread I made. I personally like knowing the names of these up and coming GM/HC candidates whether we are searching or other teams.
