I agree that Cam carried Shula.  So far, Cam+CMC+DjMoore couldn't carry Brady.    The point isn't to say how good Shula was, its to say how BAD Brady is.  His checkdown offense sucks.  He has never been a good OC anywhere and needs to be fired.

Yea Brady turned out to be a dud for sure.

The O didn't work with Teddy.  It didn't work with Sam.  It doesn't work with Cam.

We avoided passing against the 30th ranked passing D in the league today.

Joe Brady has NEVER designed a good run game.  We could run against the Cardinals last week because CMC played out of his mind last week averaging 7 ypc and the Cardinals had a weak run D.  Our other RBs were below average last week.

We can't run and we can't pass.

We will suck as long as Brady runs the O.  If Rhule doesn't fire him by the end of the season, he probably needs to go too.  Hopefully we can find a way to keep Phil Snow.

Joe Brady lovers can circle their wagons and kiss Joe Brady's feet below on this thread.

Dude, Mike Shula > Joe Brady. Ain't that scary?

    • Thanks for sharing.  I haven’t gotten all the way through but it seems very in depth. I don’t know much about this guy but like the fact that he is high on the panthers and optimistic but did not let that really play into his rankings.  I think 28 is a good stake in the ground. I would question the credibility of anyone ranking this team higher than 24/25.
    • I feel like we had more issues back then, though.  Whether you like the regime or the plan, they do seem to have a plan.  Revamping the team group by group and building something.  I am admittedly overly optimistic when it comes to the Panthers.
    • Coker is a 6-3 215 possession WR at this point.  He had a near 70% catch rate and was really good in contested catches situations.   He is pretty sound fundamentally, and he seems to be very intelligent and self disciplined.  As the fourth WR, he will get his opportunities and I see him more of an AT II if XL and TMac develop as expected.  BEHIND him (at the moment) we have Renfrow, Horn, and Moore.  The bottom line is this:  WR depth is usually based on the confidence the QB has in you.  When the game is on the line, the QB will find the guys he trusts.  For example, Mingo and Marshall did not get many balls--you could say they were not getting open, but it could also be they had not earned the love.
