What is Rhule going to give up for Jimmy G?

You think Matt Rhule is deterred by THAT? This is the man who watched Sam Darnold's film and said "Yeah, THAT'S my guy!" All he sees is a QB who has been to a SB and another NFC CG in recent years. That's the type of QB he needs.

Differences Sam was younger and you could be blind by his physical talent and think you can fix him mentally.. Which most will be wrong.. Jimmy doesn't have nearly the arm or athleticism to fool you..

Now do Teddy.

Teddy was a Hurney, Brady boy.. That's why it was so easy to let him go.. They won't do the same with Sam.. You can see how they still cover up for Sam in interview... They trashed Teddy before the season was over last year...

Sam was just ass, always was and always will be. I know he was on a terrible team, but so was Stafford with the Lions for most of his career, but the difference between them was night and day. I know Rhule was desperate for a QB after the Watson thing flopped but fug, he could have gotten Andy Dalton in FA and got better play. Didn't have to trade picks for him and take his 5th year bonus.

Sam was ass but again his physical talent and age will still entice Ppl even when he leaves here...

Ppl forget Jeff George had a 12 year NFL career based on nothing but ppl believeing in his physical talent and got 5 teams fooled thinking they could fix him...

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
