Man Crush

Did anyone notice how DWill says to Jake, Lets go out a score on this one and Jake doesn't even look like he's mentally in the game. Just standing there with his arms crossed and nods yes.

I just don't think Jake connects with these guys like he should.

Yeah, I saw the same thing. It's hard to judge a guy off of one little moment on camera, but his slight nod "yes" did little to convince me he had any hope of coming back and scoring.

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
