If Willis ever throws a pass like that, it is picked. He bends the WR back to the middle of the field. Awful throw and great uncontrolled reckless arm strength.

Arm strength doesn't mean a thing without consistent accuracy.

How far can he throw it while being consistently accurate? Strength+dimes. Strength without dimes is a recipe for a losing QB.

Yeah. They both three hopped those throws. The funny thing is that a huge stink was made about Wilson’s throw last year. But his throw was more of a 45-50 yard flick. These guys are basically three hopping a 70 yard Hail Mary. It’s a totally different kind of pass and neither were as impressive as Wilson.

From what I could tell Willis threw it from the far 35, receiver caught it about a yard deep in the end zone, so 66 yards.

Here is Pickett's "long throw" 1:50 mark

About 62 yards, but he actually looked pretty under control on the throw.  I'm not saying he has a stronger arm then Willis, he doesn't, but people get too caught up on these kind of things.

On a side note, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Howell doesn't throw it as far as Willis and Ridder on his pro day.
