There seems to be a disconnect here between opinion and fact. The future is unwritten for next years class. Hell the future is still yet to be written for this year. I get the feeling some folks are holding out for that golden ticket kind of QB prospect. Good luck with all that.

Generally, there's often this belief around here that the next QB class will be better than the present one. From a fanbase that often discusses replacing quarterbacks, it doesn't make sense that you'd want to keep kicking the can down the road when two QBs, one of whom is likely to be there, could help solve an issue this year.

That would probably be Panthers worst option out of everything they could do this draft imo

According to who? Your job isn't on the line.. and everyone in the world of drafting and scouting have a different opinion than you so clearly your wrong.

Exactly... last year this class was good. We heard about Howell and tank for how Willis name came up some.. a few others.. this was viewed as a good qb class.

Which 2 can help this year?

Lol so the coach that has his job on the line is going to draft someone that will sit the whole year. Do you think before you speak?

Everyone in the world of scouting and drafting all say Malik needs at least one year to sit maybe more.   How does that help?

Because we don't want some guy who is slightly above average. That's not going to win a championship.

I'll take 29 losing seasons and one championship over 30 straight 10 win seasons and no championship.

Nobody gives AF if you don't win it all.

So how do you feel about Lamar Jackson. I have seen your theory of running qbs being silver or and pocket passers gold. How do you view Jackson? Can the raven win the super bowl with Jackson at qb?

It is unlikely they will but if they do it will be a Trent Dilfer entire team situation most likely.

I haven't seen a ton of growth from Lamar. It's like he got better for a while then plateaued.

Who says he will sit for a year????? That's all opinion. The way coordinators scheme up offense. If he is accurate why wouldn't he play?

    • Unfortunately business is business especially when there are large sums of money on the table. Goes the same for player and ownership. Does not make it right either way.  Why would he not want to play for the niners? Closer to home with a team that has a chance of delivering a SB trophy.
    • I don’t know if it’s him bad mouthing his former situation in public or my pettiness but either way I’m not a fan. Dude was on playoff teams getting paid millions to entertain. I’m not better that because and I am better than that. You don’t bad mouth your former employer in public. Esp after getting over paid and two, poor little Russian baby didn’t get the playing spot he wanted. Rod had him exactly where is was supposed to be.  He had a mean lip check and did defend our players. Specifically the devils game around Christmas where is our Haula on his ass. Cool. Thank you. But don’t talk poo about us. Because it make you look like Haula.    “need to get as far away as possible”. fug off. Didn’t see Burnsy bad mouthing and his play dropped off too.    sorry, but Orlov doesn’t get a pass from me. See you twice a year…
    • I don't really care about your post at all. I just saw the direction of the discussion and this snippet from an article I read earlier in the day was a good spot to put non-Panthers info. I mostly don't care about the players personal lives. That's off the field/personal poo. Not really any of my business.  I also don't know him personally so what would be the point of congratulating him outside basically attempting to draw attention to myself like so many in the social media/internet realm.
