Rod Boone has dropped two names in the coaching search

An upstart coach with questionable NBA pedigree is a step back. They need somebody with that to take them over the playoff hump that was Borrego's weakness. Somebody who has done it and won it.

Out of the box, way out, somebody like Kendrick Perkins, give somebody who has been a player won a championship give somebody like that a shot. He's as LaMelo-stan as you can get. Steve Kerr. Steve Nash, Doc Rivers. Players respect those guys and will follow them.

Players respect somebody who has been to the mountaintop. If MJ is for real he should coach his own team. Players would have nightmares. He'd be tough as heck. How could you not listen to MJ as a player though? He may be a better coach than owner. Not totally serious, but MJ on the sidelines would be box-office.
