I honestly need to go back and watch some more Baylor games and focus on the DL. I think Snow is going to push more of it this year and I dont know if this DL can do what is needed.

QB, I mean Rhule had made big mistakes here*BUT* You know Stafford, Watson, and Wilson were all big targets and Stafford deal already had paperwork being process. They have tried, just been turned down too. I already said how nice it would be if a another Jake happened, that was so magically looking back.

I mainly "fine" with the QB deal cause of all the success Mccadoo had.

My only concern about Corall is how long will it take him to learn the Playbook? The sooner he can take over. The sooner we see what we have.

I believe he can be the Man. So much excitement. He just looks the part. And if not. It won't break my heart if we have another go at it next year? But that's worse case scenario imo.

The best solution to the QB puzzle, is Matt Corral. Hes under contract control for 4 years at 5 million total.......

I listen to a few panther reports and one was feeling was "Ive learned not to over-hype rookie camp and such" "ive seen the highlights and heard the reports about his lighting release, in person it felt faster and the fastest Ive ever seen, like a blur".

I liked him just the same as the other 2 QBs, would be a gift if he turns out to be a legit NFL QB.

FYI- Sam Darnold has never played a full season, so at some point Corral may get to start.

    • Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move.  Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history.  If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though.
    • 13. Carolina is coming. The Panthers are well thought of around the league. Their "process" seems sound. I think their off-season will be very interesting to keep an eye on. They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion. No one told me that.) https://x.com/lindsay_rhodes/status/2027212533417869499?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • Because this DL is completely reliant on Brown being available and being a stud. Without him we were the worst D in history. The Wharton signing last year reeked of desperation. He just isn't a great fit for us schematically and I think we panicked a little bit when we missed out on Milton Williams who would have been a great fit.
