What's Christian McCaffrey up to?

Even grade 1 tears can take 3-4 weeks to recover from so your ignorance in the rehabilitative realm is on full display here.

Two thirds of games missed since ink to paper. Zero classic "season ending" injuries.

Keep doing mental gymnastics if you need.

I'll be resting these MCL-less knees after a hard morning of hiking basking in my ignorance of soft tissue injuries. 😂

Being a critic is easy when you’re sitting on your couch and know jack about human performance.

😂

What would you be saying if he wasn't a Panther?

Take your fan girl glasses off. That's all I'm saying.

It's very possible the Panthers actually handled his situation intelligently given that we weren't a competitive team and CMC is our biggest cap investment. That would certainly be a departure from how we've handled these situations in the past, but honestly a welcome one.

It's also quite possible that CMC got paid and decided he's no longer putting his body on the line for a team that isn't competing. And honestly? Hell, I don't have a problem with it. If you get yourself banged up and compromised with injuries you'll get thrown out like yesterday's trash so you have to protect yourself. But I'm also not going to do mental gymnastics to try to convince myself that he's doing everything possible to be out there in the field when there's a pretty legit pile of info suggesting otherwise.

CMC: *plays 3 consecutive seasons without injury averaging grossly 98% of snaps played until retarded utilization finally catches up to him*

You: “Clearly he’s not working hard enough to be on the field.”

If I’m performing mental gymnastics then your brain is bed-bound.

You’re not lying. Gave me a point for “douchebaggery” a couple years ago for being objective when some TB clowns came in a discussion and tried to race bait.

This place is nice for information and discussion every now and then but could be a lot better without a few of these dildos.

Yeah, all the negativity has brought out the worst in folks. They can't wait to pounce on any poor soul they deem unworthy. Even when you get into a discussion, they have no compunction derailing a thread.

It is defiantly difficult to have a civil conversation.

We can all go back and read the dialogue, my guy.

Not sure why you hate the guy. Sucks we don’t have a prime Newton anymore but CMC is our best player when utilized appropriately. Get over it.

Didn’t realize a RB was the only player responsible for team wins. That haterade must take great.

You're getting emotional because everyone else isn't joining in on your dickriding. Soon enough our best player will be our QB again because that's how teams win in the NFL. I hope you will be able to handle that.

    • I understand tempering expectations, but there are some issues with his points. Walker was a 3 year starter, but Green Bay let him walk and no other team was quick to snatch him up. That says something. Freeling will compete to start. With Hunter, we rotate our linemen and even 5th round pick Cam Jackson played some meaningful snaps last year. Both Brown III and Wharton have underwhelmed since we picked them up. Hunter is a run plugger that we have needed. Hunter will play early, even if he isn't the "starter." Brazzell was described as one of Canales' favorite prospects in the draft and he has a speed element we have been missing. I think Canales is going to have plays drawn up with Brazzell on the field just out of pure excitement. It will be up to Brazzell to prove he can handle it, though. If he can, he will play. As far as our secondary picks, yeah they have to earn their stripes and Evero tends to lean on veterans. So they might take time, but if they can show they can play, they will see the field. Smith-Wade and Ransom did. Sam Hecht simply has to show he can handle the mental side of the NFL game. If he can, he is in a direct competition with Fortner, who's also relatively young, but also on his 3rd NFL team and doesn't have the power profile of Hecht.  I can appreciate that Gantt wants to pour cold water on what was perceived as an impactful draft, but facts are facts.
    • I have no clue but I haven’t wanted him since the start and my main worry is extending someone I know can’t win it all.
